weapon is so weak...

after seeing monsters that are level 17+, i think my level 8 legendary sword is kinda like trash... is there a way to actually enhance the weapon damage?
and i soloed the fell wispwyvern and it took me 10 mins to scratch it to death...
if at the end game, will the blacksmith npc have ability to unlock/increase weapon's level?

Go raid villages and loot chests, do towers, kill bosses. Everything has a random chance of getting a good weapon (outside of the general spawn area). I'd say the north east desert is the best.

But yes the blacksmith can upgrade your weapons on the second tab at the top of his crafting page

How? I've been trying for an hour now, and I just get absolutely destroyed within seconds every time I land in the courtyard. Each attack hits for more than half my health, and they're just continuous. I haven't got its health down by more than 2 or 3%.

I'll be honest - my reactions are not great, and I have never been any good at jumping/rolling/evasion type fights. But this just seems impossible. How did you do it? What level were you? What gear were you using?

I feel like this isn't even remotely a possibility for me, and it's a bit of a game blocker.

keep your weapon at your level or slightly below. dont cling to your "legendary" trash. legendary weapons dont actually do more dmg than common ones. they only have some extra bonuses.

youll have to refarm legendarys constantly and given how easy the game is its not worth bothering with until you hit level cap. use what you can get your hands on for your class as high level as possible.

the wyvern is easy. you dont need good reaction time for it. you are probaly trying to run in and hit it. dont do that. dont stay close to it. its spin attack is very hard to read and avoid if youre right next to it.

circle the boss. when it does the laser attack sprint towards one of the claws hit it 2-3 times and back off.

when it roars to summon the minions THAT is the major attack window. rush in and wail at it until the animation is over. then back off and kill the minions.

it takes awhile to bring its healthbar down as a melee since game is balanced around mage beeing OP for some odd reason.

Legendary weapons are best found in gold 'jeweled' chests found in some rare locations that you might not notice. I always mark them on the map if I think it's a gold jeweled one.

When it comes to weapon, a combination of various damage types often have a bigger impact than a weapon that has a single damage type...

I still haven't found a replacement for my lv20 epic bow because I keep finding lv18 common grade bows that has those high arrow speed stats but the high rarity ones are all lower tier bows (hunter's bow and whatnot).

Even if you don't have magic skills, try keeping a staff on hand and having Acid Blast spells when you find it. It's pretty effective on boss enemies as it takes a chunk of their health and then poisons them for a length period of time.

Since most big bosses are likely shroud enemies, the shroud arrows would be kinda useless for those, but having a bunch of shroud arrows for taking out encampments of scavengers and such are great as it creates a AoE field that inflicts a ton of damage.

Tried all of this. Not a chance. Like, not even a remote chance. I took 30 health potions in there and 200 arrows. After 10 minutes of mad jumping around I'd used all the potions, all the arrows, and his health was maybe down 15%. If I try to stand still long enough to aim a staff, he gets me with either his missile attack or the breath attack. Again - if I get caught by just one of his attacks, I lose more than half health every time.

Like, I get that I'm no teenager with insane reactions, but this is so far beyond what is possible for me, it's basically game over. I can't progress further. It's a shame, but unless there's a way of significantly reducing the difficulty of this fight, I'm done. :(

1 play a mage
2 get the teleport dodge
3 take a bunch of fire wands
4 spec for the auto AOE damage to kill summons
5 stay close to boss zap with wands and aoe damage ticks while dodging its attacks
6 occasionally when at a distance throw a fireball from staff.

I've tried respeccing as a total ranger, as a total wizard and as a warrior. I get utterly smashed every single time. This has literally been my entire day. I watched a youtube video of a guy doing this as an archer, and it was bizarre. The monster didn't seem to attack him anywhere near as frequently as I get attacked. The attacks on me are constant - it's *always* either breathing or jumping or bombarding. There's no break at all.

Go back to lower level regions and farm there for better weapons - then progress further. Thats the way.

I'm level 18 with level 18 weapons. I've explored pretty much the entire map I can get to without the beast head to upgrade the flame again, and I've completed all the quests. I'm not sure I can squeeze many more levels out of the game while the beast blocks further progress.

Bottom line is I can't dodge attacks. I don't have the reactions. I can do one or two, but when it's a constant onslaught, I get overwhelmed. I usually get round it using terrain - hiding behind rocks, kiting etc. But there's no way of doing any of that for this fight. Basically trapped in a small room with attacks from adds, vertical, horizontal, and a boss which can jump edge-to-edge. All happening very quickly.

For me, this is impossible. I need a cheat, basically.
