Accidentally Destroyed Crucible

I retrieved the crucible for the blacksmith, placed it down and then bam...love tapped it with my pickaxe.

It didn't drop any resources to rebuild it and I've read sand is only available at the last biome. Am I screwed or is there something I'm missing?

If you're playing offline, I think you can quit and reload, then go to where you found the crucible originally, and it should be there again. If you're playing on a server, I am unsure.

It is respawning on the place the quest leads periodically. You can just take like 30 if you want and have time to wait

Go to where you got the first one and pick it up again. Also don't put it down because it is a material to build the smelter

re load your world and go pick up another one, easy =]

to be clear just go to menu and reopen not a fresh world.

Thanks all. Dedicated server, but yes, it respawns after what feels like forever.

On dedicated server it should respawn after one in-game day

just dig thru the mountains and get sand I did manage to reach that region with level 12. It took a while since I died a lot on the way and had to exploit flame altar system, you simply can dig using the build mode to terraform.
I skipped a lot of quests and didn't even know we get anything for free, so I decided to gather all materials in order to build everything myself :p
