[Bug] Farmer still wants shelter

[EDIT] When clicking on her, she is showing to be sheltered, so the text bubble above her head asking for shelter is incorrect/confusing.

My Farmer keeps saying she would like shelter from the elements. I have her in a fully enclosed building with a couple doors and some windows. Not sure why she's still saying that. Could it be I added too many windows?

Possible or double check your roofing if its off by one tile maybe the corner they are in is uncovered?

I ended up just digging under my house and put them in the basement.

Put all NPC's in the same building. I have a 14x14x7 building with all my NPC's inside with their respective tables.

Make sure you have the roofing sorted.

Could be the roofing I guess. If I have to have everyone in one building, that cramps my mega build ideas. ;)

I have this same issue and it doesn't matter where I put her. I can see in the top left that everywhere in the house is sheltered and none of the other NPCs have this issue. This only started happening after I moved base locations.

Yeah I noticed today that she's still saying she wants shelter, but if I click on her it says she has shelter... I guess it's just a bug. What happens if they don't have shelter, will they not craft? I've never tried to see what the difference is.

Pretty sure it's just an EA bug that'll be fixed in the next hotfix. It's happened on and off for me. Sometimes when I get back on the game she'll be like that, sometimes she's good.

Yeah it doesn't seem to be effecting anything that I can tell. Just a confusing message is all.

I would prefer to have my farmer out with the crops and the flowers. Why is there a shelter requirement at all for a farmer? BTW this was passed on to me from the Logic Only Gaming .org folks. 8-)

I believe she wants to not be sheltered. I wasn't able to make boiled eggs with her inside, but it worked after I placed her on my balcony. I could be wrong as the balcony is still part of my base but she is technically outside now.

I have her inside, and if I open her crafting menu it shows a checkmark with "Sheltered" next to it. So I'm assuming she has what she needs. I think the little bubble message is incorrect.

Side question: What happens if one of them wants shelter and doesn't have it? I haven't noticed a difference anyway.

Some recipes require the crafter to be sheltered. Ex, popcorn for the farmer and shields for the blacksmith. You won't be able to make those items if they're not.

I’m currently having the same issue, just got the farmer. Gave her fire, some furniture and a shelter with doors/windows. It says she’s sheltered but keeps saying, some shelter from the elements would really do me some good.
