So the Marksman boots have a "-500 stamina timeout reduction" 500 must be milliseconds, and I'm guessing before stamina regen starts or something? Maybe I'll mix in the ranger boots with the rest Marksman and go with the stamina regen.
Level 5 Fur Armor Set (Blacksmith) – A basic form of protection. Materials needed to craft are torn cloth, animal fur, string, and metal scraps.
Level 8 Scout Set (Hunter) – First set with ranged damage bonuses. Materials needed to craft are String, Dried Fur, Bones, and Resin.
Level 13 Ranger Set (Hunter) – High damage set emphasizing ranged damage. Materials needed to craft Linen, Dried Fur, Bones, Copper Bar, Charcoal, and Amber.
Archer: this set will be found through Revelwood chest none craftable unique. This is also a good armor set.
Level 18 Hunter Set (Hunter) – Upgraded range bow user damage set. Materials needed to craft Fossilized Bone Dust, Leather, Resin, Mint Mushroom Meat, Leather, Resin, Amber, and Linen.
Fowler: unique set found in mid-game areas with a chest.
Level 23 Deadeye or Deerstalker (Hunter) – Both sets are balanced for range damage. Materials needed to craft Padding, Yellow Fabric, Scales, Lapislazuli, and Leather.
Hawk: unique set found in end-game areas with chest.
Level 25 lootable sets as well, the boots on the ranger one is pretty good 7 stamina regen
They are comparable. With my current stamina, delay, and regen values (634, 0/500 and 19/21 depending on which boots I wear), what I calculated is:
From empty-to-full with the Marksman boots (shorter delay) will take 33.4 seconds.
With the Ranger/Archer boots (more regen) it will take 30.7 seconds.
So it saves 2.7 seconds on a full recharge... however it should be worth noting that in certain high-stakes scenarios (some combat situations) it may be worthwhile to have less stamina sooner.
Legs and gloves it's much more arbitrary. For legs it boils down to whether you want a larger pool or faster regen - I kind of prefer the regen so I'm sticking with Marksman.
Gloves go ranger/archer if you don't want to bother with headshots. Go Marksman if you are going headshotting. End of the day I recommend ranger/archer - it's only a 1% difference and if you mess up your shot but hit you'll still get some benefit out of it.
