What is the definition of a "blacksmith shop"?
I made the guy a stone building, with doors, windows, bed, table, chair, lighting and a forge.

But it doesn't count, the quest just keeps saying "Open construction menu and pick from blueprints"

the shop only means he needs to be sheltered and have a forge and kiln. done. nothing else is needed.

yeah but now u have a nice shop now make 4 more for rest npcs or they may fit throw tantrums lol

anything tied to a quest from a menu has a yellow diamond shaped marker next to it

After you've build him a place/shop, you need to use the summoning wand, and then put him inside the building.

ahh, thanks, I was just expecting him to walk in and make himself at home as he was already summoned, thought he didn't recognise what I built as a shelter.
