We are incredibly limited because the fog can't be erased.
(Maybe that will be an end game ability.
The fog can be erased actually.
You have to take out the fountains. It was in a quest.
its not the shroud stopping me from building there its a physical invisible wall that doesn't allow any building in the city at all
point i was making is Devs said there were no restrictions to where you could build be it underground a floating city w/e unless you want to fix up a ruin in Capital... ah well ill just use the extra flames as fast travels and dumo my NPCs and benches in a cave somewhere
the skill tree feels like its missing hundreds if not maybe a thousand or so nodes to choose from, in saying that though ud just end up way more powerful and 1 hit everything in the game cos no scaling
You can craft wells with the carpenter i believe if you do the quests
I am in literally the exact same situation. I've completely restored the Woodgard church but have left the basement alone because it's enshrouded and thus worthless. Heck I don't even really like using the one side of the church because of the "spooky" shroud music/sounds that bleed over from the lower area surrounding it.
If it's part of a contained structure inside a flame area, the altar should blow out the shroud.
