Salt Location: Peaceful Acres

I found a new location which is a lot easier to mine salt - just west of the starting location and after the scavengers with mineshaft has been discovered.

The saline quarry is in no way easier. I went back there by mistake and cannot find my way out of that place. Google where to find salt and watch the Youtube video. Once you know where the tower is, it is hands down the easiest place to farm salt.

The first time I went there I kept trying to get to the circle in the middle that wasn't in the shroud. No idea how to get to that. I did the same thing and had to run all the way to the SE. Pain in the ass.

damn. yeah, totally agree. Wish there was an easier way out of it. Might be and we just are unaware of it

Dunno what you two are talking about. Saline Quarry where the salt is located, its literally just a few hops to the southeast to get out of the shroud. If you call that challenging already, have fun navigating the huge stretches of shroud you will encounter later on.

I found a large salt deposit in the ground right next to the start area. i think it was a little north of the bridge in the start area.

So salt can be mined within 2 minute of starting a new game since it was right in the shroud next to starting base area.

I think the tower with the salt near the starting area has been patched out... I went there, following a youtube video, and there was no salt.

Yep, that salt is gone. They REALLY want you to go to Eggerton Mine, which I hate. On the other hand, since my current base is Harvest Homestead, it's at least very close.

Peaceful Acres still has plenty of salt. It's in shroud, but it's an easy grapple to get out and there were no enemies of note in there. It's a crack in the ground just west of the Peaceful Acres map marker. Have fun!!
