Chests and Recipes

Allow building while in the build area to take from storage chests instead of forcing us to have it in our inventory.

It should be available at the very beginning not locked behind freeing an NPC. This feature is fully implemented in Palworld and Return to Moria and it's an amazing QOL feature right off the bat as it should be.

OP says Build not Craft, if you want to build something for your Base you need to have the Blocks in your inventory to work with them. I just checked and yes you can not put the blocks in a magic chest and use them.

Or do we get a chest for that later on?

Magic chest unlocked once I either hit lvl 9 or got the mortar for the alchemist. Don't have the carpenter yet.

They changed that in the last update, so you can get the small magic chest without getting the carpenter.

Lots of stupid in this thread and not by the OP I might add......

....OP asks to be allowed to BUILD within the build radius and not NEED the blocks, roof stuff etc in our inventories...... which would indeed be neat.


The magic chest allow you to CRAFT with those item in the chest not BUILD walls etc etc.

You need to have the different block types in your inventory and NOT in a magic chest to be able to chose that type when BUILDING.

Reading comprehension fail by lots of people trying too hard to be smart arses.

What you say makes sense only if you ignore the title of the thread. The key word being "recipes".

You don't "build" your base with recipes.
You craft with recipes.

The OP is clearly talking about recipes. The fact they used the word build does not change that fact.

Except if you actually take two seconds to read what the OP wrote he mentions BUILDING not crafting so I dunno maybe take him at his word which is about BUILDING instead of inferring some other dubious meaning by assuming something else because his title confused you.

Thems the only facts here. Nothing else indicates OP was talking specifically about crafting except your assumptions.

Point is if you are going to post and act like a douche and come down on and take the piss out of someone for not using the search function maybe have a clue, learn to read and accept if you can't or don't you're likely to be taken the piss of as well for acting like a douche.

I agree its annoying when people keep asking the same thing and we have many threads asking the same thing HOWEVER people not using the search function doesn't make it right for others to be aholes.....just learn to skip the thread and let it sink instead of replying.

I don't get why this is a problem. You can hold mountains worth of building materials in your inventory as is. But since we can craft from magic chests, why not build from them as well. Pretty neutral on this one.
