PS5 Controller Work Around

I found a fix that worked for me...give it a try if you're having issues with using a controller and reply to this post, fix below:
1. Enable Steam Controller overlay...(yes I'm aware this may cause double button actions)
2. Utilize the recommended Enshrouded controller layout
3. Boot the game from Steam Big Picture Mode
4. Enjoy!
I played all day yesterday with this set up and all the controls are working as intended, X = X & O = O & the L2 trigger now functions properly while aiming a bow.

I simply reworked the bindings. Yes, L1+Up is aim, but it works well.

Really, if they actually intend to release this on console in a year, they had best map both controllers (which are the same, relatively) beforehand, otherwise people will be stuck with mouse and keyboard.

I am playing it on my 4K TV via an HDMI cable, but have to use my PS5 controller because mouse and keyboard won't work as I am using a laptop.

I ended up using a player made layout with gyro enabled when aiming with L2 that works really well
