Level cap 25 and some other issues...

I noticed after reaching level 25, I no longer gain XP. I figured since this game's map is so huge with so many enemies to kill and quests to finish, we'd get a cap of at least 50 or 100. You can't even fill every skill if you wanted to. I suppose that's so you can stick to a certain play-style then respec which makes sense but I don't want to respec my character all the time. So far, that's my main gripe with the game as of now. That and they gotta fix the pop-in when sprinting. It's pretty bad at least for me and I'm on an i9-9900K and 4070 Ti. I also noticed some enemies get stuck in the ground and become invincible so the only way to avoid that is by running away.

It is imho good, that you can't get filled every skill so you had to decide.

Level cap could be limited for now due to sections of the map blocked off to later be added. But would not expect to be at a point you could master everything. Just master maybe a few tree's with sprinkles of skills here and there. Also Mastering some sections doesn't seem as useful as dipping in the tree.

Yup, definitely cheated. 9h in and I'm level 8 or 9. And I'm farming xp like crazy. Might be he's using some custom settings to speed up xp rates on a private server though, in which case, thats on him.

im like level 3-4 with that playtime haha. but not grinding exp, building, getting lost around, exploring same starter areas etc xd

Cheating or not, so it has level cap? Why it's even a thing in games i'll never understand.

It has a levelcap for 2 reasons, builds and world scaling. Limiting players toa certain build is great, getting all the skills is a great way to become OP and basicly have no struggles, like at all, late game. I read the game also allows respeccing anytime you want? Anyway, i dont wanna be every class, i wanna be one, and focus on that, so this is a win for me, and im sure many others.

It also makes it easier to scale enemies and bosses, look at Skyrim...skillcap is too high, at the end of it you are god. Nobody wants that(some might) as it makes everything trivial. I prefer to be tested in games, thats why i LOVE MHW, it never gets easy endgame and its amazing.

I've actually explored a lot and played a lot. I just used WeMod to give myself more XP and of course I only do it in my own private world. If I were to play online, I'll gladly make a new character and play fairly for sure. Don't wanna get banned anyways.

So you're cheating XP and then upset when you hit a level cap. Gonna file that away as nonsense.

As for graphical issues, stuck mobs, etc.--Early Access just started, there will be bugs that will get fixed over time. That's how EA works. Usually issues are reported to the devs in the right area so they can work on them. Who knows if they'll care about the Steam forums. If I were a developer then I'd avoid this place like the plague, Steam forums notoriously just turn into toxic cesspools.

I'm not even upset lol. I was just pointing out the level cap since I hadn't known there was one. Clearly other people didn't either, but knowing it's an Early Access title, it makes sense. I only posted here since I still haven't joined their Discord server yet as I barely use it to begin with.
