Games too bright. Help Please

Is there a setting I can change? Soon as I got outside after character creation the brightness was hurting my eyes anywhere the sun touched, the games unplayable for me atm.
Briefly glanced at settings but wasnt sure what would help or if its just how the game is

its just the game.. not sure why theres not gamma / brightness option but hopefully they add one. I like that the night is dark.. but otherwise its too bright.

Mine isnt so bright it's unplayable though. are you on an hdr pc maybe?

Not sure if relevent but I also get a warning at the menu my gpu is out of date, updated what I could and it still says outdated, I have a 1650 super. Idk this was just a very dissapointing start

There's not a brightness setting in game yet. That was the first thing I looked for the moment I got outside.

it's that bad?? Hm.. It's not a fix and you shouldnt have to, but could you use geforce filter or try a reshade in the meantime? I think you could also lower the brightness directly through the nvidia control panel or windows but that's not toggleable in game.

I feel ya though. hopefully for everybody's sake they give us more graphical / display options. Feel like its practically a standard these days, yet there's still so many recent games being released with far too few options for graphics customization.

If you have Nvidia, you can use ALT+F3 to open game filters, and apply the filter called contrast/brightness or something like that.

i change my monitor setting when a game is a bit to much, i rather dont do it but for this game changing to one of the gamma presets on my AOC was enough.

Yeah for me personally anyways. I tried the nvidia thing and didnt get any help there. And I dont want to make everything darker I just want the damn sun to be less bright. Oh well, thankyou everyone for trying to help im just refunding the game I guess. Also annoying besides the point I cant open the game without it telling me I cant run the game at fully optimized settings, like yeah thanks didnt care about that.

Gamma slider would really be neat.

For this game on LG Oled I use Expert Dark mode with Video Range set to Limited
