Twig farm?

Has anyone found a decent way to gather a ton of twigs early game? Going for an archer build and constantly run out of arrows and gathering twigs takes forever

I'm not 100% sure as I have yet to do the full process yet, you can get a farmer NPC and then plant 5 bushes at the cost of 1 fiber and some time, my bushes have not grown yet due to having to go, but I would hazard a guess and say you can get twigs from them.

You can get twigs from them, but still takes hundreds of clicks to to gather the bushes, super bad design.

Go east of where you first spawn, there are tons of bushes that you can run around harvesting, I've got more twigs and plant fibre than I know what to do with

If you chop down very young trees they drop twigs instead of wood. There's a forest full of them west of Lone Thistle.

You can get access to shrub seedlings faily early-game and very cheaply, which allow you to have a sustainable twig and plant fiber farm. Once you find the Farmer, the recipes for the seed bed and farm soil are available as soon as you summon her.

This isn't accessible immediately, but you can get threre pretty quick if you prioritise finding her.

There's also small caves (e.g. wolf/boar dens) that you can mine for twigs, thought it was bones at first but it's twigs.

I second that, yield could be better, maybe a chance for 2-3 time yield when u pickup plant. Also the shrubs could drop, so you can plant it, with the farmer as option to cultivate/produce it later on.

Also farming patches could be like in LeFo, where u put seeds in seed slot for the farming patch an the stuff keeps growing.

Hopefully the NPCs can be assigned to jobs in the future, so they can do the tedious stuff, whilst i am exploring. =)

This! We found a wolf den with a bed made of twig terrain. After mining it, we found it went down several meters into the ground with just layers upon layers of twigs.
After that, we didn't need any more twigs for days.

Homeboy, you need to show me where you found that cave.

From first base plains area outside of where you start, head east south/east towards the big geographical arch. The wolf den should be a little east of where you can go under the arch.

That's the easiest to get to by jumping off the Eastern cliff from starter plains and gliding down.

Can confirm the wolf den's work like a charm. There's a lot of them out there. Just keep your eyes peeled

Find wolf den's and mine the twigs, gives like 100-200 per wolf den
