5. What engine is Enshrouded built on?
We use the Holistic engine, which is an engine we created ourselves, specifically designed and optimized to build Enshrouded.
Unreal doesnt cause the game to be buggy and unoptimized. Unreal is one of the best engines out there lmao.
What causes unreal games to be buggy and optimized is the devs. Especially right now, that so many companies are moving to unreal 5, meaning those devs are learning the engine and the game is being rushed out lmao. Theres many non buggy and many optimized unreal games.
And it’s ass
Unshrouded is not an Unral Engine game and I played lots of Unreal Engine games running just great these last few days. They look damn great too namely Tekken 8, Robocop Rogue City and Remnant 2.
Had 0 issues on my mid-range rig running any of those. It isot an Unreal Engine problem but a development problem.
That said Enshrouded needs work on the optimization department but that's Early Access for you.
Probably would've run better if it was on UE5. You are probably new to dev in unreal, and that's ok. It takes a lot of time to understand.
It’s really not. You’re just not good at it.
Nice
