Constant 60 on all quality settings on a RTX 2070 Super.
Don't use that NVidia Experience garbage :)
Really? I have my global set to Max Performance though so that should already be the case and I don't have FPS locked, but even still I should be getting at least 60 or higher then.
I'll give it a try but that would be very strange if this works.
Sorry then if that doesn't help.
Good luck!
The only strange issue I'm having is the audio. When I'm playing (headseet on) the sound is fine, but when I play back the recording of it the sound is like 2x as loud. I've got the Master Volume down to 25, music at 5. No idea what's going on as NO other game has this issue with OBS recordings.
Or possibly it's your system and understanding how to build and set one up properly? I mean its possible.
This isn't an "Indie Studio" problem specifically, it's more indicative that Software today (Game Engines) have FAAAAAR exceeded Hardware's capability and Studios from 1 man games all the way up to 800+ Employee AAA Studios don't optimize their games like they used to, back when they HAD to. Every time they run an optimizer (can't remember the exact name), they have to decide if it's worth the cost to fix the issues found (Labor hours). Everything's gotten so much more expensive these days and Studios have bills to pay just like we do.
I'm not giving game Studios a free pass, just pointing out the why. Games used to ship complete, back when they were only available on physical media, and they HAD to run well on the system/pc of the time or they were screwed. Today's age of digital downloads, they can hotfix until they're blue in the face. And all the while, the "finance team" is constantly breathing down their neck to push the product out. I don't like it any more than the next gamer but it's what we have today.
