My upscale goes up by percentage so not sure what you mean by raise upscale to quality.
My upscale is set to 100 percent and resolution is set to 2560x1440. Ill try dropping the quality to balanced and see if that helps but at 1440, I shouldn't have to drop graphic fidelity so much on a 3090.
After a tip to check core usage in taskmanager i noticed that enshrouded.exe had below average priority and after changing to above normal the fps was back to 60.
must have been some weird update bug.
The cpu priority changes back to below normal about 2-3 times /day cycle.
I got exactly this issue since D1
I only crashed once and it was right after i've opened the map one the starting area.
I did update the nvidia driver right after (got a 3060 oc with 12go of vram, 10700k I7 and 32gb of Ram°
The "map" goes from 60 fps to 10-15fps the more i zoom out of move inside, its only this part of the game i got issues. No lag or anything from the rest of the game after 8hours on it but the map zoom in-out makes the game insanely laggy, i haven't check cpu tasks but seems annoying to re-setup core priority every time i launch the game ^^'.
I run the game in Balanced or "Stability' settings (not visual quality), in 1080p so it shouldn't be an issue.
its not once /session its continuosly 2-3 / day cycle. not fun.
Just download and install. Run Enshroud and find the exe. in process hacker. It was pretty far down the list for me. I right click trhe exe. and set my priority to above normal. Then right click again and save priority. easy peasy
