fps issues
3090
11700k @ 4.8ghz
32gb @ 3200mhz
Every so often fps drops from 60 to 45. I can exit to main menu and fps stays the same. Reloading and the fps is still at about 45. Only way I have found to bring it back to 60fps is to change quality settings to performance, exit settings, then go back to settings and set to quality again. Nothing else works so far.

Put it at the balanced preset and test that for awhile. If all is good you can raise the upscale mode up a notch to quality. That is what I run at mainly to get 100 FPS avg on a 6950xt bascially and 5800x3d with 1440p selected in menu.

You mean change quality preset to balanced? Then raise the upscale to quality?
My upscale goes up by percentage so not sure what you mean by raise upscale to quality.
My upscale is set to 100 percent and resolution is set to 2560x1440. Ill try dropping the quality to balanced and see if that helps but at 1440, I shouldn't have to drop graphic fidelity so much on a 3090.

Today my fps dropped to 20 fps from 60 yesterday.
After a tip to check core usage in taskmanager i noticed that enshrouded.exe had below average priority and after changing to above normal the fps was back to 60.
must have been some weird update bug.

I changed quality to balanced and tried again. Solid 60fps till dark and it dropped to 57-58. A little odd but I figure its a lighting issue. Come daytime, I checked my map and zoomed out and fps dropped to 17-21. Zoomed back in and fps went to 45fps and stayed there in game. Went back to map and zoomed out and in again and brought it back to 60fps. Tried a 3rd time and fps maxxed at 45. Exiting the game to main menu didnt help.

Sorta worked. When the sun sets, FPS drops to 45 again but going into map and zooming in then back out again fixes it

The cpu priority changes back to below normal about 2-3 times /day cycle.

Have to try if it sticks using prio or process lasso. In my experience, below normal cpu priority doesnt help

Ok priority gets resetted even if using Prio to remember the new priority. This seems bad! Cant we workaround it?

I got exactly this issue since D1
I only crashed once and it was right after i've opened the map one the starting area.
I did update the nvidia driver right after (got a 3060 oc with 12go of vram, 10700k I7 and 32gb of Ram°
The "map" goes from 60 fps to 10-15fps the more i zoom out of move inside, its only this part of the game i got issues. No lag or anything from the rest of the game after 8hours on it but the map zoom in-out makes the game insanely laggy, i haven't check cpu tasks but seems annoying to re-setup core priority every time i launch the game ^^'.

I run the game in Balanced or "Stability' settings (not visual quality), in 1080p so it shouldn't be an issue.

No use letting ppl know about the issue on discord. they just keep spouting their rehersed bs thats not relevant. "have you tried to restart it" advice ... sigh*

gonna try Process Hacker to and see if that works
So Process Hacker does save priority but you have to keep it running in the background. If you close it, it reverts back to below normal. Nice thing is you only have to set it the first time you run it. As long as you fire it up before your game, it'll will set priority to what you set it at.
Just download and install. Run Enshroud and find the exe. in process hacker. It was pretty far down the list for me. I right click trhe exe. and set my priority to above normal. Then right click again and save priority. easy peasy
