Roadmap? Content?
Hey! I'm looking to buy but just a bit cautious this day and age for game buying. Is there a roadmap showing they have content planned for the future, or is the release "it"? Nothing else coming?

Kinda worried for $30 there's not a lot of content, especially since its not procedurally generated.

I'm not really sure why you would want procedural generation, but regardless it came out in early access so more content is virtually garenteed.

I want to know this too

For survival or adventure co-op games, I just personally think it fits better because content can be generated on the fly so there's different ways to play it. It's not a must, of course, just want to know how deep the content goes since it doesn't have something that can keep things "fresh", if that makes sense?

If it's anything like most Early Access titles you'll have at the very least a couple of years of content and updates added.
The question really is whether those updates are beefy enough to flesh out the game.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

No worries! This is what they have in the Early Access section of the game:

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
“Enshrouded is a complete experience in regards to the core gameplay elements. However, during the Early Access phase it is planned to improve and add to the gameplay features in accordance with feedback from the community. In addition to that, it is planned to expand the world significantly. This will include new biomes to explore, filled with new enemies and new types of locations. New biomes also mean more crafting resources and recipes, more tiers of equipment and weapons. While levelling up, the player will be able to explore additional skills in the skill tree. For the player base, more deco furniture and building materials are planned to enable players to express themselves even better with their building creations.”

They said they plan to have the roadmap available publicly within two weeks from launch

I suppose I can understand it from that perspective. I'm a solo player, and I find procedural generation to be pretty underwhelming in comparison to crafted content. I can see how co-op would benefit from more content, but I still generally dislike procedural generation in its current state.

This is not a roadmap as its suggestions but its official and made by devs,so some of those features sure get added

Yeah, if this was single player, I think it wouldn't match at all. Hand-crafted worlds are really great, like in Horizon Zero Dawn, Witcher 3 etc etc. I think the world so far looks pretty good though, so it doesn't seem to be a "poor" crafted one at least.
