Setting up dedicated server

I am having an issue setting up a server with the tool. I followed the steps and changed the name and added a password. however, my server is not showing up on the list at all. Do you have any suggestions? This is my first time trying to do this.

For the server to be accessible outside your network and available in the list you will definitely need to add a rule on your firewall for the ports the game uses as well as set up port forwarding for these ports on your router.

15636 and 15637 need to be port forwarded as stated above (assuming you left these default ports as per the config file).

I have the same problem. I also tried changing the ports that I use for another game that is accessible from outside. But my server still doesn't show up. I assume it's not a port problem.

strange thing is, is see the enshrouded server via steam server view but if i try to connect, steam tries to download the enshrouded dedicated server instead of launching the game.

One thing I noticed is the Public IP mentioned in the console when launching is not the IP I am expecting to be connecting with. I'm in a situation where I have multiple public IP addresses on my server.

If you can find your server through Steam's game servers list, make sure you add it to your favourites there and then once you open the game's server list it will be on the top saved as a favourite in game too.

I've seen this suggested but I've tried everything regarding the favoriting on steam and it does not show up at the top for me in game at all.

The server is 100% up and stable, I ran it yesterday and was playing just fine when it made the cut and ended up in the server list. But now that the server list is overpopulated and my server does not fit on it, I'm trying other methods to connect, and favoriting and connecting through the game is not one of them. Not sure why this is being suggested, are you guys sure this actually works or does the server actually show up in the server list and you're getting placebo effect? Or someone probably was connecting to their friend's server that they already were on (Then the server does show up at the top), and reported this as the solution so now it's being spread as a solution.

I tried these steps as mentioned above.

I used the IP address and Query Port (15637) and added it to Game Servers Favorite.
I can confirm that Steam sees the server, the name, the player count, and latency.
I then opened the game itself, and it still did not show it in the list.

So what worked for me......
Add your dedicated server to the steam server favorites list

Navigate to where the enshrouded_server.exe is located.
Instead of running the Enshrouded Dedicated Server via the steam app, run the .exe as administrator.

One thing I notice when having this issue with the ports and hits on my port forward rules on my firewall. All the hits are hitting the udp rules for the ports not the tcp ones. Am not sure if both are required or just udp. I would check to make sure the ports are set at both or udp.
