Why are the body proportions SO WEIRD!?

Is it me or are the Body's in this game really off-putting? I wish it didn't but it really bothers me. Is this something they have acknowledged or plan to change?

We just went with it and are working on a hobbit hole now. They do look weird tho.

Yeah, something about it just really throws me off. The best way I can think to describe it for me is like if you took a dwarf from LotR and stretched them just a little so they were not as short. Really boxy looking.

It's super buggin! If they scaled down the head size I think it would be ok, or extend the leg length.. something. Super weird looking dudes. And they do say they are human in the lore and other places.

Imo it´s just the legs being to short. Somewhat odd for an otherwise well crafted game.
I hope they fix it.

No, the proportions are not off. They have the same proportions I do. Short limbs, long back. Endomorphic body type. My whole family is built like this.

I really thaught, that i´m the only one who find this annoying. I wasn´t even sure, if I would find something, if I asked it on google. I think they should fix it, cause the character models of the NPC´s are absolutly fine, I didn´t understood why the Blacksmith is so much taller than I and looks more as a warrior as I do... :-)
