Tip for easy early game scrap metal

Just found a pretty neat trick to get some quick early game scrap metal, once you reached the area where you unlock the blacksmith character (Ancient Vault - Blacksmith) just smash the large iron urns that are spread around as they drop scrap metal. A tip is to use your melee weapon as it does not drain stamina (They take a while to destroy so not having to wait for stamina made it a lot faster) and just use the repair anvil outside the entrance when your weapon breaks. Just thought i'd share as this gave me around 60-70 scrap metal

This has pretty much been my approch all along. Digging for Iron didn't seem like an option, so I just started scavenging anything made of iron... Fences, Lamp posts, the metal urns you mentioned :D

Aye just picked up the game and a quick google search made it seem like killing bandits were the only source for scrap metal so thought i'd share this here just in-case it helps someone!

Also if your by a flame alter and enter build mode yo7 can dismantle ANYTHING in that ring without wasting stamina or durability striking things with a tap of Y on controller while looking at it lol

This dismantle works on it all including HUGE trees and so on.
