2) The scroll wheel can sometimes duplicate inputs when the game is running at more than 60FPS
Some users have reported that when using the in-game menus at more than 60FPS, the scroll wheel can sometimes skip 2 lines with a single scroll. The team is currently investigating this issue. If it's causing significant problems, it can be worked around by manually capping your game at 60FPS (for example via your NVIDIA control panel, or VSYNC).
what i tested:
58/59/60 fps capped
latest driver
older driver
fast vsync via nvidia control center
regular ingame vsync
no vsync at all and uncapped fps
reinstalled the game
lowered mouse sens
changing process priority
disabling both steam and geforce overlays, all overlays for that matter
unplugged controller and pretty much everything else
nothing helps.. also tried to get help via discord, but sadly everyones out of ideas. some ppl had it fixed with the patch, sadly not me.
Geee!! I tried alot of them things too and nothing has worked.
What fixed it for me was the key mapping setup. I'm a lefty so I had ADDED a mapping under custom for RIGHT ALT + Scroll Wheel. It turned out that if I removed the original mapping, it started working. In other words, make sure there aren't two different mappings for the same action that involves the scroll wheel. I was able to replicate this bug of jumping more than one thing, just by adding a second key mapping that involved the scroll wheel to the config.
It's a strange bug, but fully reproducible by me. I've gone from being unable to select certain build blueprints to being able to scroll to each one. If this isn't clear, let me know. It may not solve your problem if you've not played with keymappings at all.
FWIW, I think they 'solved' the issue related to Fscrolling and FPS by simply capping the game to 60 FPS anyhow in a previous patch, but I tried forcing that too before I found this fix. Anyhow, hope this helps someone.
