Are there really no settings to remove bloom, motion blur and DOF?
Or was that reviewer an idiot?

My group agrees - we don't like the bloom, the motion blur, or depth of field. I turn these off by default and my group would like it off as well.

Actually there is, and you can turn it off.

The motion blur is hidden under the accessibility tab labeled as, "Reduce Dynamic Camera Motion" turning this setting to on will disable motion blur, but also stop the camera from zooming out on its own.

I been looking for the ini file too but no luck, apparently there is no QUALITY option for my texture resolution so i wanted to force it to use that :(

The only editable file there is atm is a JSON file with very basic settings.

Most of the game is comprised of a single compressed KFC_Data file that that has no known way of uncompress. So yeah its kinda ♥♥♥♥ atm

I am a 3D Designer since 30 years and a can't see any bloom. Do you mean the dynamic light and camera aperture? The fog scattering light? I read bloom in this forum all over the place, but guys, there is none.

You may be right technically. The bloom effect or lighting in general during the day is distracting and gives a neon brightness to the greens. We need something to tone it down whether its a "bloom" option , gamma slider, or a toggle for whatever makes it so intense.

No OPTION to disable these effects = NO BUY for me.

its 2024, all games that make use of FX like these should have options to disable them.

Yes, the days are way too bright, being that bloom, sunrays or whatever effect but it hurts the eyes.

With so many different persons playing this game, this kind of things needs separate settings to be able to adjust. It's a graphical option, but i don't care if they add it instead to the Accessibility menu where it is that "hidden" mixed motion blur setting (which should be a complete separate setting also)

I hope that, along with the needed first fixes, they add this kind of settings as a priority. It's not QOL, it's basic accessibility.

Maybe turning down the monitor backlight when getting blinded? The effect of bright light when leaving a building is pretty well done in this game. Maybe it's more a psychological thing. I also had a feeling of beeing blinded when I fist walked out of my house. But I was chuckling and thought they made that effect very well working. Think of it, outsite its like 100000 times brighter then indoors in reallive. If you simulate that light in game you have to compress that range to 1000:10 or so.

I will insist that no, no motion blur is present in the game. Not noticeable in the slightest

Checked the link, read the setting: it doesnt remove ANY BLUR, but dynamic camera and fov changes that can cause the same bad effect as motion blur, which is the motion sickness.

Headbob, screenshake are other things that ARE NOT MOTION BLUR, but can produce motion sickness.
