Tweaks and fixes for the game!

The game's performance could be better but I noticed it is very sensitive to subtle changes in the config, unlike the typical game that runs bad no matter what you touch.

I think compiling possible tweaks and fixes and sharing our experience can make the game run better while we wait for patches.

I will start:

+Update nvidia drivers to todays new drivers-> for me it decreased input lag

+Disable spot shadows: seems to be a very hungry setting

+Lock the game to 60 fps-> I also enjoy playing at 90 fps but they didnt feel smooth, the lock makes it feel smoother

+Increase process priority-> I was surprised to see it was by default at below normal, so I bumped it two levels, and feels smoother

+Try the FSR3 framegen mod that replaces DLSS-> have yet to try

other ideas or experiences?

Yeah I just had a very decent, performance wise, session, after tinkering a little. Hope others contribute as well!

Im sure its early to have definitive conclusions but probably many of us are tinkering with config to improve perf

I love that you say to disable spot shadows and that isn't a setting in the game.

They mean contact shadows, and yes it is.

One thing that helped me is to run V sync through nvidia, not the game. Performance seemed to improve a bit, but my sessions still get spikes in fps.
