The game is trying to give you ALL the frames.... but the refresh is limited to 60.
But you can't lock the framerate to 60. So it's running your card hard for 0 reason. Just bad design.
In short, % use of GPU SHOULD be high and is absolutely ok if it is at 100%. TEMPERATURE on the other hand is what needs to be monitored. Exceeding the limit of the GPU can cause damage or shorten its life.
I capped fps to 60 on nvidia control panel since some people said the devs actually aknowledged that animations and a lot of things in the game are locked to 60fps. The game is 3rd person and I don´t usually notice 60fps as much as in firs person shooters, so I´m ok with that.
That why i´m saying the game has something weird going on, no way a game looking like this capped at 60 fps 1080p dlss on with balanced graphics can take 99% gpu usage.
Indeed I restarted the game and the gpu was around 65%
Theres something fishy going on there.
The problem is when I try to get it working it kinda doesn't like to be stable, you can be smooth for a while then suddenly the whole game hiccups like in Palworld.
Basically it's best if it's built into the game itself, rather than on a driver level.
