Controller keybinds all in reverse?

Triangle = square.
X = O
O = X

Its so annoying how everything is reversed mmm

Ya it's not even that. It's worse. I can't click Y on my PS controller to commune with the Flame, I have to use the keyboard. I literally tried every single button of my controller. Nothing works.

If I use DS4 windows on my PS5 controller and emulate Xbox controller it works properly minus the names of the buttons being off.

How do you emulate xbox controller on DS4?

In Steam big picture mode, I went into the controller settings and enabled Steam input. It was off by default for Enshrouded. This solved it for me.

The thing that sucks about this is that often, if the game has native support, it can trigger double inputs. It claims to have native support, so having to use steam emulation is kinda annoying. FYI, in Enshrouded's options you can change the button mapping to PSX control buttons.

Having the same issue. Remapping doesn't fix it. Still views O as X and X as O. This is bizarre.

i had the same problem(i use the ds4 gamepad),
My Fix:
open Steam,
go to "Library",
in the Gamelist on the right side, right click on Enshrouded,
then go to "Properties",
in the option "General": disable Steam Overlay,
(and if applicable delete the In-Game Overlay Data),
in the option "Controller": enable steam input.

For me it worked. I hope for you too

Same. Bu its weird. It worked at first like normal but when I quit and came back a few hours later they were reversed lol no fix yet

This worked for me! No big picture mode required Use Steam input fixed ps5 controls!

Streaming from my PC to my Steam Deck keeps me from being able to walk, with any controller. PS5, Xbox SX, Switch. None of them can walk. Every other button works though, just not the left stick. Been a problem since release.
