DS4 Controller mapping not accurate
As the title says, using a DS4 the mapping of the buttons is inaccurate. Circle is confirm and X is cancel, but the menus say the opposite.

I had the same problem, all the right face buttons are mapped wrong

Same issue, are you getting double input? My girl presses a direction in menus and it skips 1. Enabling Steam Controller makes it skip 2, tripling the input. x.x

I had the issue with my DualSense controller by default. Forcing steam input fixed it.

Right click on the game and select properties, > controller > enable steam input

All of the keybinds were fix.

Now
A is select and B is cancel.
A is jump B is roll

Got the same issue. Sadly, the patch I just downloaded didn't fix it. :(

For anyone having the O and X button swap. Just right click the game in steam > Properties > Controller on left > in the drop down menu on right, enable Steam input. It was mentioned in another post here and it worked flawlessly for me using a DS4 controller.

Yeah, the steam input doesn't work for me with my DualShock 4. It "skip" when going left or right

I have the same issue with the "swapped" button. I play with Steam on Linux. The "Controller Property/Steam Input activate" did not work at all.
So i tried the"ds4drv" Tool. Then the Controller works with "Steam Input activated", but i had also the "skip" issue
Then i just killed the "ds4drv" tool after i started the game
Then the "skip" issue was also gone.

So it lookes like that the "ds4drv" tool on Linux fix somehow the issue that the "steam input activate" could initialize correctly. Then it lookes like the "steam input" API and the "ds4drv" API both sending events when pressing a button which causes the "skip" issue.

Maybe this workaround also works for the windows "DS4windows" tool ?
