How did you do this?
lol even the start and select buttons are swapped what is this.
Right click on the game and select properties, > controller > enable steam input
All of the keybinds were fix.
Now
A is select and B is cancel.
A is jump B is roll
So i tried the"ds4drv" Tool. Then the Controller works with "Steam Input activated", but i had also the "skip" issue
Then i just killed the "ds4drv" tool after i started the game
Then the "skip" issue was also gone.
So it lookes like that the "ds4drv" tool on Linux fix somehow the issue that the "steam input activate" could initialize correctly. Then it lookes like the "steam input" API and the "ds4drv" API both sending events when pressing a button which causes the "skip" issue.
Maybe this workaround also works for the windows "DS4windows" tool ?
