I have the game and a deck but my internet is probably so slow that by time i get it downloaded on my PC, then download it on my deck, 1,000s of people will have let you know by time it finishes LOL

You could always buy it, download it on deck, set a timer for an hour and 30 mins then play the game for that long, if it doesnt run well just refund it.

Works on linux so probably with stemdeck too, dangerous question is optimalisation...

you can refund it before 2 hours. And several times i got refunds after 3 hours

I need to run it with gamemode on desktop linux. Without it, performance is horrible, but with gamemode it's very smooth. Haven't played much though. I'm on a 7900XTX 1080p withouth FSR, if that matters.

Edit: It'd be nice to know how usable the GUI is on Deck in handheld too.

Yeah I'm at work and would like to know this as well. My girl has the steam deck and would love to game with her if this runs on steam deck

I’ve just played long enough to get out of the initial cave. So far it looks like if you cap steam deck fps at 40fps and set game to max performance in settings it’s playable. Looks a bit like playing a Switch port but I don’t care that much personally. FPS fluctuated between 30-40 fps. Controls are all good though, fully supported throughout.

I just loaded it up on steam Deck. Using FSR2. It seems playable. Doesn't look that great. I'm averaging 30 frames a second in the spawn area.

Good to know. I'm more concerned with controls than frame rate. I've never stopped playing a game on Steam Deck because of frame rate but have due to controls being awkward
