just curious on what server hosting companies people will be using, i am aware gportal are already offering services but I've had a bad experience with them in the past and would rather a different company.

Yeah I wouldn't give my money to gportal ever again. Check out hosthavoc, they did right by me in the past.

Enshouded can be hosted by players themselves via dedicated server, does not need hosting subscription.

Always Gportal. If a game doesn't offer Gportal servers, I don't play.

I’ve used Host Havoc twice now, once for my son to have a Garry’s mod server and got one today for Palworld. If I were to get one for Enshrouded and they offered, I’d use them for it too. I imagine hosting from my home will be easier than Palworld based on my experience with Portal Knights, we’ll see.

Streamline server all the way for me. Always had a very good experience with them and when you have problem the support is support quick, always got a response in less than 15 minutes the 2 time I had to make a ticket (once just for a basic question and the other was for my palworld server I made it too fast and took the wrong region so needed them to change it lol)

I highly recommend checking out Gravel Host [gravelhost.com] , their Enshrouded Servers are cheap & really good. Their support is also wicked fast, 12/10

I have tried Gravel Host...it has not been great. I had to ask a question (mapping the server in Steam wasn't working using the primary port it was listing). The tech got my issue corrected, but wasn't super nice about it.

We've had a lot of issues with server loads, as well. With just two of us on the Scrappy server in the starting zone, the game is constantly flashing orange and read server load warnings. It got laggy a couple of times as we were exploring that first shrouded area. We upgraded to the next level (Arcanna?) for up to 8 players. Still just the two of us, still barely out of the starting zone, exact same server load issues.

Anyone have suggestions for other services? We just paid for the month last week. Given my experience with the customer service this second go round, we're not even going to finish the month. It's not our machines, either - mine runs the game well on medium settings. My friend I'm playing with has a high end machine that runs the game great. We both have individual worlds that we use with no lag/issues at all. We've hosted the server ourself and that's worked well also. The problem for us is neither of us can leave our machine on 24/7 due to work; we really want a separate host so the world is up 24/7.

Try citadel servers. They dont limit ram usage and have good specs
