its not an mmo.
but its not LIKE valheim. thats a common missinformation beeing tossed around even after the demo.
think of it like zelda botw or totk but link grunts less and you can build fancy bases. thats enshrouded.
valheim is a sandbox in a randomly generated world. enshrouded is neither of these and the worldmap is fixed.
plus there is no sailing or ships.
nor like valheim.
Its an botw action-adventure like game with a handcrafted map and points of interests to find and puzzle and explore,
but with building added as a side.
Servers are player hosted and can be local(solo), peer to peer within the game client, or players can host dedicated servers on their own hardware or through server rental services like GPortal, who we are partnering with to offer server rental support on day 1.
Which is essentially similar architectural setups represented for valheim as well.
Both have voxel terrain manipulation and base building seemingly though.
I think the point is that obviously its not a 1 to 1 ration comparison but that both having similarities is apparent from anyone who has seen/experienced game play of both. Obviously Enshrouded isnt a Valheim but to dismissively say there are no similarities would be silly.
way better
game scales to player count? How often does it check this and change it's difficulty or ever at all? So I start solo, add three people later. Does it check once or randomly? How so?
