Make available for players with 4GB graphics?
Are you going to make game available so players with 4GB graphics can play? People with gaming laptops with 4GB graphics have to purchase a new computer just to play this game? IDTS

You dont even have a gaming laptop. Ok maybe it was a gaming laptop in 2010 or so...

the problem is most new high def games that been coming out require higher vram now...
Which one exactly? Tell me. And do you believe I play graphic intense games? Is Enshrouded one? Can't see it in videos and screenshot. Lower settings should just be fine for this one.

They are also not a triple-a type studio. Don't expect it to be optimized as a game with a budget of a small country made by thousands more people who have way more experience just because cyberpunk looks better.
Actually, I expect it the other way around. A small German Indie dev shouldn't be the one to enforce a hard cap. I would have more understanding if it was Call of Duty and such games.

if the system requirements are TOO HIGH all they do is shot themselfs in the foot at the end of the day. good graphics dont make a game good remember. its simply not what matters.

It matters to me. Graphics no good? I’ll pass. With today’s technology I expect games to continue to push hardware. Gameplay is important but it needs to look good too.

Yes I also need to play this with 486DX 2 and Voodoo II :steammocking:

The days of 4gb vram being enough to run new games has long since past. Most new games 8gb is barely enough

Yeah but the game should accomodate people with older GPU's really. I can run Far Cry 6 with low to medium setting on an older 4gb GPU and that game is far more superior in graphics than this game. Not everyone has $1500 lying around for a RTX4090.

Sure dude, they will get right on that. in the mean time, go buy yourself a new video card now, save yourself a lot of frustration!
Laptop GPU (everything other than RAM and storage, really) is integrated. Legit gotta buy a whole new setup if you want better graphics. I buy a new one every 3 years. Lol

I know, I know. Desktop is superior hardware for a fraction of the price. However, I work away from home and can't haul a desktop with me.

This whole post was about a laptop, which is all integrated. You actually have a buy a whole new laptop in this case, which will run you about $2,000-2,750+ USD. That's the downside of portability.

So not true as a general statement...

6gb GTX 1060s go for £80 on eBay
6gb GTX 1060 refurbished laptops £300 on eBay.

Sell whatever you have to make some money back.

I'm playing fine on a mobile GTX 1060. 1080p low settings 50-70fps.

I do wish I could play on my work laptop which has a 4gb rtx 3050ti but my older personal laptop seems to be doing just fine.

Some 8gb cards do not work either so the real problem is getting the game to work at all. :)

Thanks for making me feel better about my potato :beatmeat: At least I can play!

But I agree, I think devs (especially with a game like this) should work harder to make their games playable on the widest variety of PC setups. I don't care if the game has to look like BattleBit to be able to run, at least it will run. You'd be surprised just how many people are fine with playing a game with horrible graphics as long as they get to play something new and exciting, especially with their friends. And especially in countries where technology is extremely expensive.

I wonder if there is some king of a workaround to this hard-lock they have in place or if it's just too deeply coded to find.
