Not bashing on your financial situation here but hardware requirements go up all the time and 4gb of Vram has been dated for a few years now. Expecting companies to keep supporting legacy hardware isn't reasonable.
Neither is charging us £1000+ for graphics cards but unfortunately they play the tune and we either dance to it or sit it out.
