Excited for the Game! Crossplay?

I have to say I'm super excited for this game to be released to early access in January! I didn't realize this was the same company that made Portal Knights and I'm glad I stumbled upon Enshrouded in the forums of another game. I'm not sure how many hours me and my kids all sunk collectively into Portal Knights, but it was definitely into the thousands for all five (yep, five) of us combined.

I see that there is a planned console release, please tell me there are plans for crossplay? I can't imagine the potentially technical nightmare that creates for developers, but I'm probably not the only one that has friends/kids spread across multiple platforms.

I would like to know if there is plans for crossplay as well. While I am on PC a lot of our clanmembers are on Playstation 4/5, Xboxs and Switches.

Im hoping it is crossplay. Im going to guess being in early access its not but then again some games in early access do have crossplay available off the bat. Lets hope for enshrounded! 🤞🤞

I'm also hoping for this to happen. Hopefully not the half-baked Microsoft/Sony exclusive nonsense, especially now where they have started to move away from this habit[tech4gamers.com].
