Where do I find shrouded wood?
Anyone have an idea?

I did this but I just get normal timber logs out of it?

Make sure that you are IN the shroud - you should see the countdown banner. Then make sure you're chopping down an actual tree - there are plenty.

go down into the shroud by Braelyhn Bridge and look for rotted grayish trees down there. chop em for shrouded wood.
