Horrendous Performance

Good thing this will appear in EA first. Performance on an AMD 7800X3D, 7900xtx, 32gb ddr 6000 ram and I have to enable FSR 2 performance to maintain above 60FPS. Without FSR I get less than 30 FPS. And, even at the highest settings, the game is not visually appealing. So, lowing these is not ideal.

With that said, the game is pretty fun. Gathering and crafting is not overly complicated. Just please get the performance dialed in.

VERY BAD PERFROMANCE!

The game is probably nice but i can't play it, low or ultra doesn't matter i have max. 29 fps.
And no its not my hardware.

What resolution are you playing at?

My laptop with a 3060 runs the game perfectly fine, never goes under 60 fps on medium/low settings at 1080p resolution.

Try updating your drivers or reinstalling the game?

Im playing at 1080p with RX6600XT, I can play games like tarkov, and tarkovs performance is not he best. So this game is not even "bad" it's a nightmare.

EDIT: To be fair it's the demo, maybe they will boost the performance after release.

They have noted on the start up screen that there are performance issues for AMD and non rtx graphics cards which i suppose also means earlier Nvidia gpu's like the 20 series and below.

Hopefully it will be fixed before the demo ends so more people can get to try out the game.

I have a 3070 and it doesn't run that good.
I can get 60 fps sometimes, on high. But it dips quite often.

It definitely needs some optimising.
I game in 2k though, still this shouldn't be an issue.

Hopefully they do some work on the optimisation going forward.

There is no todays beta. The demo they are talking about was released friday. I dont know why they made it so confusing.

I get 50 to 60 in most areas, but that's on a 49" monitor with and AMD RX 7900xtx. Fog effects kill performance and the shrouded areas are the worst of it. Adjusting fog quality didn't seem to make a difference. Outstanding game otherwise

Bro says its not his hardware yet he doesnt tell us what it is. Buy a new pc

sadly, the game is not playable for me. I can't stand 30 fps on medium. (gtx 1080 at 1080p).
This is also even more sad, coz i was very eager to play enshrouded and support the game, even in early access. But now i am out. There are enough other games for me which are by far better optimized.

To be fair.. its not much of a card to begin with.
I didn't have any issues at 4k with a 3080TI

RTX 4090 and 5800x3d system with 32GB RAM.

I'm getting maybe 42 fps average at 4k ultra settings with FSR 2 disabled. I think it's safe to say that optimization will come later. Poor performance is expected with a demo of a title that hasn't even released in early-access, so I'm not exactly upset about it.. I AM however a little miffed about the very limited graphics options.

For example: when you first boot the game up there is a notice that non-RTX cards will experience much worse performance because the dynamic lighting isn't optimized for non-RTX cards... well.. guess what? There's no dynamic lighting on/off low/med/high setting. You are apparently locked-in to having the setting enabled... which isn't great.
