2) The scroll wheel can sometimes duplicate inputs when the game is running at more than 60FPS
Some users have reported that when using the in-game menus at more than 60FPS, the scroll wheel can sometimes skip 2 lines with a single scroll. The team is currently investigating this issue. If it's causing significant problems, it can be worked around by manually capping your game at 60FPS (for example via your NVIDIA control panel, or VSYNC).
Unfortunately, this did not fix the issue for me (but thanks for posting it @CC, at least I got to try it).
I turned scroll sensitivity to minimum (1 line) in Windows and set 60 FPS limit in Nvidia control panel. Both settings were applied (scrolling anywhere outside of enshrouded is painfully slow, and frame rate is not going above 60 in game), but with my gaming mouse, I can't scroll less than 2 or 3 lines in the build menu (i.e., when you hold alt and scroll to change building piece category) for each click of the wheel - so basically, I can't always get to the row I want.
On my non-gaming mouse, it's better - I can sometimes hit the mark if I scroll very slowly. So I guess I'll use that for scrolling the build menu for now, but yikes.... this seems a basic issue to not have fixed since the demo.
Where and how did you make these settings please?
Because I also have this problem of sensitivity for crafting
The game should be ignoring the OS's settings. Just because I want fast scrolling in a web browser doesn't mean I want it to bork in-game menu's. Most games ignore OS mouse settings
It's fixed for me, not for everyone though. If you're having the issue then change your max frames to 60 FPS in Nvidia settings. Then you can also go into "Settings > Devices > Mouse > and change "Lines per scroll" to 1 in Windows.
Oh Thx, didn't seen it ! (works for me)
watch out, ur nose will hit the ceiling. imagine being so cocky yet so wrong.
That's because they've posted a new fix in the Sticky thread. You need to change your max FPS for Enshrouded itself to 60 FPS for now in Nvidia Control Panel as a temporary fix until they get it worked out.
