All housing stuff gone

Game crashed again on fighting, and when relogged everything in house gone, boxes, bed, table, chairs ect.

I didn't have a crash, exactly. I just logged out to menu to take a break. When re-entering the game, it wouldn't load. Waited 10 minutes, but CPU and disk weren't doing anything, so I killed process. When I started up again, all built structures were gone. This included the chests in the house with everything in them, of course. There were still three items (initial empty chest, bench, and flame) from very early on, but in their original positions, not where they were when I went to menu.

I suspect the problem was the save file. Either it didn't save correctly when I went to menu, or it didn't load correctly when i first tried to re-enter. So, I expect it became corrupted one way or another, and I got reverted to an older save.

Now, all the gear on me was fine, so it seems that info is stored in a separate place somehow. I'm guessing the save is made up of a file defining the character, and another defining the world.

I'm going to try to find the save file(s) and see if I can figure out anything. (Maybe I'll find a zero-length file somewhere...)

Same when I crashed, I just found a legendary staff. Staff was gone along with everything else I found before the crash. Sometimes crashes wipe your items.

yeah mine was crashing every 15 mins or so when hosting a duo game. It would throw us back about 5 mins which makes me believe it runs on a world save system that hits every block of 10 minutes maybe. I'd ask around on the discord but I got banned when i asked why they were using an NDA on members of public, pity though because the concepts behind the game are fantastic, but currently it's just an advanced UE project with the same types of bugs as the others.

I had this problem. Wasn't a crash, though. I logged off for the night and when I re-opened the game I was missing 3 chests with all my resources, the Blacksmith had moved, and his bench was gone.

I think this happens when the world is not saved correctly, or it cannot load the world for some other reason, then it will load an an older backup. Make sure you log out of the game properly and don't just turn off PC.

It happened to me today I went to log in and the loading screen went forever so I had to kill the game in task manager. When I restarted it all my progress was gone. Very annoying but the game is not even EA yet so gotta excuse some bugs.

I went to main menu and back. And all items were invisible. Including the bodyparts with an armor equipped. Only head was visible. The house structure was there, the torch flames were there, but no furniture or torch. The items and hitboxes were still intact and interactable.

But it was after 8hrs session which in the end of it already went with missing NPCs (still fighting tho).
