I'm waving the white flag. After this video I decided let's speed up the process and dug straight down from the lowest point in my tunnel. The pickaxe went from full to broken and still no bottom.

Is the build range limited vertically? If not, dig in a circle to stay within the horizontal limits and take the workbench with you.

You showed that you couldn't place the foundation outside the horizontal edge, but didn't show that you couldn't build higher than the roof. You jumped a couple times, but it didn't turn red.

Is it not limited vertically - could you have kept building up?

You said 80 x 80, but a cube would be 80 x 80 x 80.

If you want to test the deep, make a Building Hammer, Select Terrain Mode, take the big block and than right klick. No digging with the Pickaxe needed.

You can go deeper than the Map but it seems you cant move under the Map.

No you can't continue to build up. That's what I was showing when I was jumping. There's an upper and lower barrier. The altar makes a giant cube shape for the boundary limits. The roof of the house pretty much touched the top of the limit. I actually built another house before that video and had to drop it down one level so I could fit the roof.

My bad I should have said 80x80x80. I was just reading off the description of the altar. It only has 80x80 listed on it in game. lol

That's why I thought maybe it wasn't limited vertically, because they didn't specify the boundary as a cube.

what if when you hit that boundary you place another alter and create a new cube on top so stacking the cubes. effectively making a dungeon and castle ,devs did say it was possible it could make for some interesting builds
