You should look up Outward, It's SO close to it I instantly wishlisted it. I LOVE that game, and this looks just like it, but with more people, larger and extra features like building, grappling hook and wing suit, all things that make a game almost instantly better.

I do miss the EverQuests though.

This is exactly what I imagined EverQuest Next/Landmark would ship like
Anyone else think the same thing? Very much looking forward to this.

Yupp. Very reminiscient of all the old Next content they hyped up with. Similar art style as well. MMOs are dying tho. Back to coop we go. You can just do way cooler stuff without a a massive network infrastructure

I hadn't thought of that but I do see it now. It looks like it will be a blast, I just hope the combat isn't souls-like.

I agree I was really looking forward to landmark being developed further, I really enjoyed that building system. I actually really liked Portal Knights and I heard they were working on a sort of spiritual successor but could never find out what it was, until seeing this coming from the same team. So I'm confident it will be good. so I also am looking forward to it.

Yes, definitely has a Landmark/EQ Next vibe. Also, loved Portal Knights so I'm stoked about this one.

Yeah, I was excited for EQ Next as well, but actually think that co-op is better. This has all the same vibes, but without the MMO baggage...perfect.

Yep. This has Landmark 2.0 vibes for sure.

Looks amazing game

Same, haven't been this excited for a game since EQ Next/Landmark. I hope they deliver.

Yep! Same thing I was thinking. Lets hope they have some better building tools though. Landmark nearly required a PHD to get the most out of their voxel building. It was great for a few of us that were really into it but didn't appeal to the masses. Somewhere between Landmark and Minecraft would be the ticket.

Same thoughts here. Hopefully they'll consider line tools, smoothing, etc, etc. Have waited a long time and look forward to watching this progress..... Dare I say it? "Soon"

A large part of the joy of Landmark was simply touring/discovering others' work. Loved building with thoughts an occasional stranger coming by.

The tools did take time to learn, but wow the things we discovered toying with them. Hopefully there will be heal, line, smooth, paint, etc. tools to create beautiful things again.
