Many games allow for modding even in EA, hopefully this will be one of them.
Let the Devs make the game they want and not rely on a modding community.
Mods are fun after the game is out and enjoyed and played to continue to add life to a game, not before.
Why don't they instead confirm or deny that they will make that modding tool?
Like multiplayer, most games that have official mod support are designed from very early on with it in mind, so this isn't a bad question to ask at this stage even if the feature itself won't be released for a while. (Of course, whether unofficial mods will be supported won't be known until the community gets their hands on the game.)
If the game have Mods for roleplay, im sure about the conan roleplay players gonna change the game
There are no questions that mods are what makes a game truly great, but at this stage, we cannot make promises that the game will be moddable, as using our own custom engine means we would have to develop our own tools, etc, to make mods a thing."
(from the game´s discord)
Sounds like a no to me, which would be a shame.
Agreed, a lot of similar games had workshop support from the start in EA.
It looks like a game with lots of potential though.
