Everquest Landmark, I SEE YOU!!!

This game looks to take from Landmark at least the ideas it was pushing. This is looking great keep up the good work. and it's a for sure buy for my household.

the split screen is only for local coop. not online coop. online coop works like any other games coop nowadays.

Yeah, you don't have to split screen and now there a mod that allows for any number of players. I usually play with like 4.

I miss that game, played it tons in early alpha stages, was gutted when it got cancelled. Dave had such a passion for that game.

Yeah EQ: Next had huge potential and it was sad when it was scrapped. I immediately thought of that game when I saw this.

No, They closed down the servers and didn't try to hard after SoE was bought out.
They had a decent Game started there and had to let it go was pretty sad since as a standalone voxel builder it really was cutting edge.

im out money i sunk into landmark its been years im still #@ hell least they could have done made it usable offline or refunded money but nothing

I played Landmark and did voxel building. I have also played Enshrouded in the beta. Its early days but give the demo on the 9th of October a go and see what you think. It certainly brought back some memories on the building side plus added great new ones with the story and environment. It's worth having a look and deciding for yourself, I think.

I really miss Landmark too! :( I had so much fun exploring/creating. I was even one of the winners of Landmarks of Landmark contest. *sigh* I will most likely buy this game when it is available, but if Keen happens to implement all the tools we had available in Landmark, I would be thrilled! I would make sure to spread the word too because i know there are a lot of us out there that have been searching for a game to fill that Landmark void.

Not just looks like, it looks like they exact engine, like they purchased it from them.
