How can you get this working on Steam Deck?

It says it's verified but after loading and launching it gives me a black screen and then eventually closes. Does anyone know of a solution?

I don't quite understand what the problem is, but at least on my Steam Deck LCD, it runs. it's a bit slow but playable.

maybe you should try some version of protonGE by downloading it from ProtonUp-Qt

It goes into the game launch, loads the loading bar on the game's big icon then gives me a black screen and about a minute later closes. I'm not sure why but I can try to download that. Thanks.

There is no way I'll be throwing away my steam deck. It's a very good handheld console for a lot of Steam games.

probably better to do a stream. run it on a desktop and stream to your deck

Try putting the game on DX12
