Season ended early?

When I logged in, the season supposedly had 1 hour and 10 minutes left. A few minutes later I was having connection issues. The next message I get is saying the game is already in maintenance.

The game sometimes does not read daylight saving properly. For example, the time remaining displayed for Australian players may actually be 1 hour less.
