Kurumi F allows you to teleport to your ally, it allow you to dodge some ults like viper stun if you time it right.
Ziping have an ult that auto triggers when you die to prevent your death and knocks back enemy. Her F gives some small healing and a free dodge. so those 2 combined make it easy for new player stay alive longer, it just happens by default. Kurumi require you to know when to use your skills.
I forgot which is which but
1 gives passive heal over time while line connected, and active to heal more in 1 burst (most commonly used)
2 gives 20% damage reduction while line connected, and 90% damage reduction for 4 second when active (better than heal if you know what you doing)
3 give 10% increase damage while line connected, and 40% damage increase for 1 second when active (very rare only team trying to make meme builds use this)
all 3 F can active with other mouse button to teleport you to your team mate and knock back enemy near team mate (well timed F can avoid viper Ult stun etc)
kurumi's ult have 3 version
I forgot which is which but
1 ult make a circle that regen health for everyone in the circle (not as good as armor one, but works to heal Monk that ulted or Yueshan that Ulted)
2 ult make a circle that regen armor for everyon in the circle (most common)
3 ult regen all team mate's health if health is full, regen armor instead, unlimited range, so you can be on the otherside of the map and this still works. (not as good as armor circle for sustained heal, but some prefer this since it is long range)
basically, if you are the weakest link in the team, your job is just to not die instantly so your team mate can do their thing. then pick ziping. Because most 3v3 end up being two 2v1. meaning 2 enemy trying to gang up on you, while your team mate is doing the same thing. so if you just stay alive until enemy team lose 1 member first, it turns into a 3v2.
Ziping Ult 1 auto save your life once. (auto triggers)
Ziping Ult 3 make you and anyone near you unkillable for like 5 seconds. (but you need to actively use this, you might get air juggled to death before you get the chance)
Ziping Ult 2 save everyone's life once, (you need to actively use this too, same as above you might get 1 combo'd and never gets a chance)
