I believe the devs didn't have a choice in the matter.

They claim that they changed it due making the game more "Age appropriate" for younger players, but in truth, it was most likely due to CCP melding. The same thing happened with another Chinese game, Genshin Impact, except that Hoyoverse, the devs behind Genshin, had the smart idea of giving non-Chinese players access to the old outfits as a costume choice.

24 Entertainment could have done the same thing, but they chose the lazy route and just gave players in-game gold as a refund.

Yeah, no ♥♥♥♥. It doesn't change the principle of the matter, that changing stuff from what people paid their time and/or money to get, is never okay from a customer standpoint.

Of course I can still find enjoyment in this game, regardless of the covered up lady chests. That's not the point of the matter, and if you actually bothered to think about how altering/removing content could be detrimental to gaming (or entertainment in general), maybe you would understand my viewpoint.

Who would buy a skin for how it looks?!


Shouldn't we censor all bare chested male outfits too then? I mean if someone want to see a bare chested monk or martial artist I`m pretty sure there are plenty of pics on the subject online.

They actually did refund the cost, though in gold/in game currency, but they kinda hid it pretty well. I didn't realize this until the refund program ended.

Yeah but they refused refunds for skins like Flawless Elegance for Matari, the one you acquired with the ultimate deluxe, with the excuse that it was tied with other benefits or bonuses.

They have been really untransparent and dishonest in dealing with the whole problem, to say the least.

The original assets that were censored are still in the game files and are viewable with a modified version of AssetStudio, it might be possible to find a way to restore them, assuming the game doesn't checksum these files.
