Some people keep yelling that it's spyware but I have yet to see any proof of this.
And yeah, I get. "CCP Bad", "Data farming bad", but for real, everything is farming your data to an extent, including Windows 10+ and Android-based smartphones. I do enough to limit the amount of data I expose to the internet, so I'm not concerned.

very easy solution is to have a device for gaming only, and another for sensitive data only.

it's not that it's just spyware, in china any chinese company making a profit gives a % of it to the CCP, so literally you are funding the CCP by spending any amount of money on it

If that the case (which it is), then USA has been funding the CCP for decades.
A large majority of the products we use daily are made in China.

People are too paranoid. I've been playing this game since beta... my credit score still in the 800s... no data leak. Every company/games/etc. mines user data. Just don't be stupid and limit what you share. I only use my Windows PC for games. Any important stuff I do on my mini-PC which runs Linux.

There's a higher chance of you getting hacked by stupidly clicking unknown links from emails or even here in Steam than playing this game. 😅
