How to get rid of the server (EU) on my name?!!!!

When I started this game I accidentally chose the EU server but i'm in the US. Now I use NA server but my name keep having the (EU) at the end. I tried to change my name but still the same. HELP PLS!!! :(

You will probably have to contact support and explain what happened. It sounds like they implemented this to allow players a way of figuring out where a player's originally from!

i have the same problem, i talked to cs and they were no help what so ever.

i've never seen a game that force a region tag next to your name, so stupid and annoying.

Same here, started on NA by mistake and got the lovely [NA] tag next to my name while playing in EU server, waste early currency to see it won't go away with rename >.<
Never seen anyone else with that thing in 40 games though...

I'm starting to think this is something only you see on your end of the game, I've never seen anyone with this as part of their name now that you mention it!

i have seen people with [NA] and [EU] nametag running around in SEA server.. and yes they lag as hell and ruberband so much like how NA and EU player complaining how the chinese player playing on NA and EU server

Having the same issue. I didn't think the game was going to default to AS when I started it up the first time and the second time I logged in I looked and made sure I was on NA and saw the stupid [AS] tag next to my name. And yep, even after buying a name change it didn't go away so I sent in a ticket explaining the issue and the support basically told me "we understand you find this annoying but there's nothing we can do about it right now."

I'm having the same problem too this day ... and it sucks because all my friends are in the US servers while I'm stuck in EU. they didn't even give me a warning when i entered EU that it would end up being my new server. so now i have to sit on the sidelines while my friends get to play the justice chamber together. Why even region lock it if you don't region lock anything else.
