but the rng isn't what bugs me its the stunlock/combo system itself being just bad offering very little room to actually play against said combos/focus attacks so once something lands thats it you can't just magically dodge or parry or deflect you are cc'd. starts charging focus attack you parry, oh but the 0.2 sec delay (not including latency/input lag) makes your parry pointless so boom focus attack lands and your dead. i've actually died deflecting with light attacks because my health was so low but it was my only option to retaliate to light spam since dodge wont work half the time with how quick/wide and auto locking the attacks are.
The best part starts when you know that you can hold mouse button instead of instantly realize it to prevent counterplay. Then the parrying counterplay will disappear completely. Or it will turn into a full random, when player A can hold the mouse button for 0-1 second, and player B must guess when it will be released and parry within... dunno, 0.3 second duration of parrying? Pure rng with 1\3 chance, hmmm...
Maybe... but I'm at Silver rank now though with 1500+ points 😙
But I have to agree with the OP based off of what I have been seeing. I hope this game gets the attention it needs but with other free options or seasoned BR's out there that are paid for, I don't see the playerbase sticking around. Which ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks.
