24 GB update?

Does any1 know what is this 24GB update about? Cause I've just load game and again I've to wait 4 this GB more, cause I couldn't find anything about this update, it's like almost whole size of the game itself

They aren't updates .. these are really lazy developers .. you have to re-install the game every-time there is a so called update.. garbage..

I had only just re-installed the game.. now I've got to re-install it again..

W8....Just in case, in this case, shouldn't I delete previous one? Wouldn't it copy itself?

When you patch .. you copy / overwrite just the libraries that are needed .. They will add new libraries .. but instead of copying just those they will copy the whole main game over because its a lot less work .. hence why they update so much ..

Download the game overnight. Wake up to a 20 gig update. And so many games do this, it's getting tiresome. Basically, their files are stored in batches and if they touch any file in a batch, the whole batch file has to be re-downloaded. So every update is 10's of gigs. Many games are like this now. Hopefully future devs will avoid storing everything in batches like this going forward because it sucks and doesn't make sense for a game that needs constant updates. Guess I'll go play something else, yet again, and probably forget about Naraka, again.

Yeah .. They are just lazy .. you need to have a good integration test team .. One incorrect library and it will mess the game up .. So just safer to copy the whole build .. But really annoying for the people that have to download it every two weeks .. :(

YES, FINALLY SOMEONE TALKING ABOUT THAT. I was creating threads so many time, This garbage updates with half of game size requires GAME SIZE + UPDATE size to update this garbage game. I have no free space on my SSD ( even its 500GB, and there is another SSD with 1TB ). With my Internet speed I have to download games to play them sometime.
But devs like this making idiotic updates. Today I found free 56GB space on my SSD ( Cut half of the other games file and redirected them to another SSD ). I thought "YES I FOUND FREE SPACE EVEN BIGGER THAN GAME SIZE". Put it on download on night. you know waking uo and realise that this garbage wrote "You have no free space on you storage".
14.7GB was downloaded out of 24+ WITH FREAKING 46GB FREE SPACE ON SSD WHERES GAME IS LOCATED. I HAVE NO CLUE HOW TO BE UNPROFESSIONAL TO MAKE THIS KIND OF UPDATES.
So I thougt "Hmmm", make some free space again. I get free 7GB, started downloading and what do you think happend ? THIS APE UPDATE NEGOTIATED MY INSTALLED HALF UPDATE ( 14.7 GB) AND STARTED TO DOWNLOAD FROM 0!!!! AND IT DIDNT CLEAR SPACE ON MY SSD. SO I WANT TO ASK ARMLESS DEVS WHERE IS THE SIZE OF 14GB DOWNLOADED( WHICH WENT TO 0 AGAIN ) GONE ?
