How many chinese players?

Now its around 150k players in game. And in europe its 9-11 am. Evening time around 30-40k players (evening time in europe = late night in china). So i conclude that almost every player in this game is from china, right?

i cant recall the last time i died from anyone else except a bot in survival mode, or if it ever happened at all. i actually came to think nobody in eu plays the game.

Your know if they are from China .. if the name is in mandarin and they take vast amounts of damage without the health bar moving at all. Then they are from China. They are a total plague on the EU server. They should put some sort of region lock on.

I have found that the names don't have to be in mandarin alone. They have been in regular english names as well. They look like random reddit names put together. Had one with their mic on and they was obviously mandarin but with english random reddit name

the game company block server based on IP location not user‘s profiles ,you can also try create a Chinese account to play in Chinese server it's not possible

IP can be dodged by VPN and Chinese has different game client, so it is more tricky to create.
I still can join from Europe any server except China. Nothing changed here.

More than you imagine, this game is very popular in China. Not everyone in China uses Steam to start games, there is an independent game launcher in China. So you can multiply the actual number of online users by 3-4 times

Thankfully a lot of overseas Chinese players play. I'm saying thankfully cause the western playerbase would be cut in half if not for them. Also the game is unplayable on high ping now (it was before too kinda, but before last patch it had advantages. Now it doesn't) so stop thinking that people server hop. The Chinese names you see are Chinese people living in your region most likely.
