Disable Kernel-mode

It wants me to disable my Kernel-mode Hardware-enforced Stack Protection before entering the game...........why?

isn't every anti cheat ever runs at kernel level, becuase it's only way to maintain game's security? not just of this game, any more or less popular game out there.

I deleted the game and re-enabled Kernel mode. Seeing this thread going the way it is though I'm honestly just curious wth is going on with this game.

we are currently updating the anti cheat to work with hvci enabled. it will take about a month for that to work. This is a limitation how the windows drivers work . Sorry you are upset about it, but Naraka is not the only app that is not compatible . Its a Microsoft thing.

Every anti cheat collects telemetry on you so does windows. Not sure what your issue is.

So in about a month the whole app will be a tad bit less invasive?

The anti cheat requires it disabled because currently the kernel mode driver wont work with it enabled, we are currently updating the anti cheat to work with it enabled it will take about a month for that to take effect. The anti cheat does not collect that much info on you and is way less invasive then riot anti cheat and others.

"we" so you're a dev? You know it makes sense now, every post I see in the forums, I always see you there defending this anti cheat system.

The anti-cheat is getting updated at least for the areas outside of China, so it can run with HVCI enabled. In countries like China where it's not enabled by default due to restrictions on how the government wants anti-cheat handled and so forth won't see any changes.

The anti-cheat system is no more invasive than any other anti-cheat out there it does the same thing. It is however less invasive than valorants anti-cheat. If this was COD Warzone or Battlefield or so forth, we would not be having this discussion. People would be like turn it off you nub you don't need it.

I like how you didn't deny the part where I accused you of being one of the devs, instead of arguing with people in the forums, why don't you listen to the fan base and change your anti-cheat system, or get it approved by Microsoft.

Already said it was being updated a few posts back. Which I also have shown can be safely disabled (from Microsoft own website and posts). Microsoft itself says to disable it while gaming. Instead of saying omg they are trying to steal your info , go read some info. Trust me no one cares about your pron stash on your pc or the 23 dollars you have in your bank account.

Also, I don't care whether or not it can be "safely disabled", the players shouldn't have to jump through hoops in order to play the game. I find it hilarious that after a few comments, I can see you're getting frustrated, you've resorted to insults.

I am not frustrated, just the fact that us having to explain over and over and over again the same thing. You and others have the same tired argument about HVCI KMCI. We have sown that it can be safely disabled. Even Microsoft says to disable it for gaming .

If you think an insult is saying no one cares about your pron stash and so forth don't know what to tell you. Anyways the anti cheat once again will be updated, it was a one click solution to disable it, no one had to jump though hoops to disable it. .In fact the majority of windows installs don't even have it enabled by default.

or by the 23 dollar exaggeration? it doesnt mean you are super poor.. it just means they dont care about what little money u have.. because the average person doesnt have that much money on their bank account.. a few thousand dollar maybe

i also didnt need to disable anything..probably because i already did in the past because of some other gaming reasons

if you think its fishy, then dont play.. but many other GOOD anti cheats are in fact also invasive, and i saw posts like this in the past on many other games already

i dont know what kind of games you played, but anti cheat in cs:go for example isnt good
i used to play cs:go competetive back then and i used FACEIT and ESEA.. dont know about faceit anymore, but ESEA anti cheat was also invasive
riots anti cheat is
and some others are too

it just doesnt exist in every game, because some people value their privacy and illusion of security way more than a hacker free game, so it is a decision a company has to make
invasive anti cheat and people are gonna complain about it being invasive
or a normal anti-cheat and people complain about cheaters
i personally gladly take the invasive anti cheat...but i would also be for ID checks in gaming similar to what korea does. not sure if china has that too.. that would solve the cheater AND smurf problem for good

i may be not 100% right on all the stuff i said, but its more or less like this

Also players ensuring safety is more disturbing than devs ignoring players criticism?

Sooo instead of having a normal anti-cheat, you'd rather have one that requires you to disable a security feature? Also quit making excuses for these companies, they're not paying you to defend them.
