Why disable HVCI ? Is it safe ?

Is it safe to disable HVCI for this game ? as it's generally not a good advice to turn off some security protection.

correct if you never activated virtulization or your cpu doesn't support VT-x or every feature of Vt-x it needs, it wont enable or worse yet run in emulation mode which taxes your cpu harder since it needs to run in software emulation on the pc.

No it's not SAFE fro you. After deactivation of core isolation, every PC is vulnerable to atacks from the internet also trojans, viruses, backdoors, spyware for passwords, account stealers and so on , why I need to deactivate such most needed security tool, even I have gaming notebook like ROG Strix Scar? Removed and hide your game from my library.
It's just inconvenience to switch the function back every time after playing and to restart the computer every time. Only those who do not know what protection is and how disabling kernel isolation makes their computer vulnerable to everything possible, most from the browsers, will disable this feature.

I'm not saying it's malware protection, but you said that bacause it has ways to be exploited (as everything has, there's no such thing as perfect security program) there's no need to have it on, I just applied it to antivirus.

EDIT: It kinda is, because if a solution prevents malware from doing it wants to do it satisfies the 'malware protection' term. It's not a antivirus solution (detection and removal), just blocks the access.

Honestly, it's probably safe to turn it off unless your device or job requires it, or unless you frequently visit shady and untrustworthy websites. Could it be a security risk? Yeah, but if you're already playing things safe online, like using adblocker software, not downloading random shady things, etc, then you have nothing to really worry about (if the game did actually do something bad to systems with it turned off, it would have been all over the INternet by now).

Its because they have a kernel level anti cheat. You can blame cheats thats literally use modified versions of windows OS to launch and inject. Its stupid, yes, however this is a necessary evil in a world where cheats run rampant. Allow me to assure you that your pc will be safe

We heard you and listened , also myself and a few others pushed really hard with the devs to get it updated.

Any update on when this will be available to play with it turned on?
Reason I need it on is due to other softwares on my computer that requires hvci to be enabled to be able to run. It became timeconsuming to turn it on and off to play and work

Didnt help. Still cannot run the game with hvci enabled even after running that

HVCI mode is designed more for business laptops to increase security by virtualization of the memory. Since most games like BR games and other games that rely on anticheat, anti cheat software doesn't play well with vitalized memory addresses as part of the anti cheat reads what is directly in memory and not ossification.

It is just hardware enforced code integrity. it is safe. The developers are not doing anything malicious with their anti cheat or data collection, they collect less data on you then fortnite and valorant which use even more invasive anticheats.

Except that you can play valorant and fortnite with HVCI on no problem!!!
I would really like to see people understand that good anti cheat and HVCI are not mutually exclusive to each other.

Enjoy your fights with bots; I'm sure this incompatibility that is entirely unique to this game isn't helping with that issue lol.

It is safe , just like the other poster said, and by the next update we are updating the game so you can leave it on and play since so many people are worried about turning it off

One year later and it's telling me to turn it off on my rog ally. Screw that
